One-Day Cookery Courses £195
We offer one-day courses at the Dudwell Cookery School, on a stunning country estate setting in the Mendip Hills. Courses are for all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced home cooks and promise to be a lot of fun! You'll enjoy the spoils of your mornings work in the dining hall at lunchtime, where we’ll match some wine with your food, then take home your afternoon’s work to impress your loved ones for your evening supper.

Join us for a full day at the Dudwell Cookery School in Chewton Mendip where we will be whipping up a feast of Asian dishes to include, steamed bao buns, Singapore noodle and crispy won tons. Your mornings work will be eaten at lunch with matching wines in the pool house and your afternoons efforts will be taken home with you for supper

"What a wonderful setting to learn new cookery skills and recipes. Carrie and Tyrone made us very welcome and the organisation was throughout was impeccable. Starting with a coffee and chat about the day ahead, in a comfortable lounge set us up for the day. Tyrone introduced what seemed like a never ending series of Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese dishes throughout the day. I found his teaching style was very effective; tells you what to do, demonstrates it and then is on hand to support you doing it. I learned new recipes, where to buy the Asian groceries and professional culinary equipment. Eating the food we had cooked for lunch, with a good wine was very enjoyable, leaving me feeling like an afternoon nap, but no chance as there was more cooking to be done!
